History of our suckler herd
Established in 1993, when we purchased a batch of ChX, SimX, BlX, HfdX and AAX heifers as
recipients, which were then put to our Salers bulls.
Their SalersX heifers (1/2, 3/4 and 7/8) were kept and were also
bred to the Salers bull.
In 2001, the last of the original sucklers were sold to leave a suckler herd of only Salers and
SalersX, which are put to our Charolais bull.

Salers/SalersX - Effortless Easy Calving
The Salers redefines easy calving. You don't have to assist them with calving.
You don't even have to think of assisting them to calve !!
The Salers cow has the largest pelvic area of the major beef
breeds* resulting in a quick stress-free calving, even to heavily muscled sires.
Calves by the Salers bull have a short
gestation (280-283 days) and a slender conformation.
Recommended for heifers and difficult calvers.
