All Rigel bulls are assessed for temperament, growth rate, length, conformation, legs & feet etc. Our young Charolais
bulls are raised in with our Salers bulls on a primarily forage diet to ensure a long and healthy working life, as demonstrated
by our stock bull, Rigel Poseidon, who is still going strong at 8 years old. Poseidon is by Lounsdale Howard and out of a tremendous
LeBlanc cow, by Escott Diplomat. Growth rate, structural correctness and easy calving are the key elements in the selection
and breeding of our Charolais females, with the aim of producing strongly muscled, but easy calving bulls for commercial use.
